Certificate II - Transport and Logistics (warehousing and storage)
This is an entry level qualification designed for individuals employed, or seeking employment in a variety of roles including (but not limited to):
- Road and Rail Transport
- Warehousing
- Storage
- Stevedoring
- Allied Industries.
The Certificate II in Transport and Logistics (warehousing and storage) is the ideal qualification for individuals who apply a broad range of competencies in a varied transport and logistics work context. It is designed for existing and future employees who are required to use direction, judgement, relevant theoretical knowledge
Am I eligible?
There are no prerequisite requirements for entry into this qualification.
What will I receive?
On successful completion learners will receive a Nationally Recognised Certificate II in Transport & Logistics or a Statement of Attainment for competencies completed.
Can I go on to further training?
Yes. Successful completion of this course may gain recognition of your studies towards Certificate III in Transport & Logistics or other relevant qualifications.
How long will the training take?
Approximately 12 months under a traineeship, this will consist of on the job learning and off the job study time. The training duration will depend on the electives and study mode selected.
Where, when and how can I train?
The delivery of this course is employment based. Employment based training may include workplace activities conducted by the employer, practice exercises, simulated activities in the classroom, learner activity workbooks & research projects.
Assessments could be conducted on or off the job. Assessment activities may include oral presentation, role-plays, assessment activities, knowledge quizzes and project based exercises.
