The Diploma of Hospitality Management is an ideal qualification for anyone looking to fulfil a role as a departmental or small business manager. Throughout this course, participants will learn the skills they need to effectively coordinate hospitality operations and lead employees more successfully. This qualification allows for the accrual of multiple diverse skills while also enabling specialisation in accommodation services, cookery, food and beverage or gaming.

The course consists of 28 units in total, ll of which must be completed to receive your Diploma. Of these modules, 13 are considered core units and must be completed by all participants. These core units are listed below.

- SITXMGT002 Establish and conduct business relationships
- SITXWHS003 Implement and monitor work health and safety practices

What do you need to know?
We strongly recommend that individuals undertake lower level qualifications, and/or gain industry experience prior to taking this qualification course, however, this is not mandatory.
To attain your Diploma of Hospitality Management you will need to commit to around six to 12 months of study. The duration of the training portion will depend on which electives you choose and which format you decide to complete them in. This qualification course can be completed remotely (with workbooks and assessments), through structured classroom sessions or via a combination of the two.
Upon completion of the course participants will receive a Diploma of Hospitality Management or a Statement of Attainment for competencies completed. This qualification may give you recognition of your studies towards the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality or other Advanced Diploma qualifications.
