Be Trained by Barringtons Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41419) is designed to educate and assist individuals who work in work health and safety roles. These roles may include but are not limited to supervisors, WHS personnel and workers in other WHS-related roles. This course provides participants with the relevant skill sets to monitor, implement and contribute to WHS within the workplace. 

 

On successful completion learners will receive a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or a Statement of Attainment for competencies completed.

 

The course itself is made up of 10 units - five of which are core units and five of which are elective.

 

The units are as follows:

BSBWHS412 - Assist with workplace compliance with WHS laws

BSBWHS413 - Contribute to implementation and maintenance of WHS consultation and participation processes

BSBWHS414 -  Contribute to WHS risk management

BSBWHS415 - Contribute to implementing WHS management systems

BSBWHS416 - Contribute to workplace incident response

BSBWHS417 - Assist with managing WHS implications of return to work

BSBWHS418 - Assist with managing WHS compliance of contractors

BSBWHS419 - Contribute to implementing WHS monitoring processes

BSBWHS411 - Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs

What do you need to know?

 

There are no prerequisites for entry into this Barrington’s qualification course. The training runs for a duration of 12 months for participants that are already working full time. However, it can be completed at different durations based on personal obligations and pre-existing skill sets.

 

Delivery

The training itself can be delivered in a combination of ways. Online options are available as well as in-person sessions. Having the option of blended delivery ensures the training works around your schedule.

 

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or a Statement of Attainment for competencies completed.
